Hair Loss Remedy?
Going bald and losing hair has
been a problem for men and women since the
dawn of time. Today there is no sure-fire
cure but there is a lot you can do, and a
cure appears to be closer than ever!
We recommend all first time visitors
who are unsure of what they want to do about
their hairloss to read our Beginner's
Hair Loss Remedy Guide.
Hair Loss Treatments: Propecia,
Rogaine, Avodart, Nizoral
Treatments for thinning hair are
better than ever. There are two FDA approved treatments
for hair loss - Propecia and Rogaine. Propecia is
a once a day oral pill which blocks the 5-alpha
reductase enzyme that creates Dihydrotestosterone
(DHT), the male hormone associated with thinning
hair in men with male pattern baldness. Rogaine is
a topical lotion available in a regular and
extra strength version which stimulates hair
growth in both men and women. Other treatments
have been shown to be effective although not
specifically FDA approved for hairloss including Avodart and Nizoral.
Hair Transplants
Today a skilled hair
transplant doctor can provide extremely
natural results. We recommend taking great
care in choosing a surgeon and reading our
helpful information prior to selecting a
surgeon for your hair transplant.
Nonsurgical Hair Replacement
Nonsurgical hair replacement professionals
are also offering real human hair pieces
that are more natural and affordable than
ever. There are more hair
replacement choices
than ever in this area and being an informed
consumer can help you to choose the options
that are right for you.
